Sisters Taylor and Carson Lunceford began Talley during the summer of 2011 in Charleston, SC. In the beginning, the two were only making the unique jewelry for themselves. After receiving compliments on their talents, they decided to share their handmade creations with others.
Growing up on the coast of South Carolina and vacationing in the Caribbean has significantly impacted their design aesthetic. Talley jewelry reflects their love for the outdoors and, more specifically, the ocean. By incorporating those influences, Taylor and Carson hope their jewelry is able to bring a little slice of paradise to their customers.
Talley has now expanded from hosting trunk shows in their home to hosting shows all over the state. They’ve also taken their products out of state as one of the featured artists at Thread (at Unioin Market) in Washington, D.C. Additionally, the Lunceford girls have gotten Talley involved in philanthropic efforts by donating jewelry to organizations including the Coastal Conservation Association and ‘Live Like Rob’.
Taylor has a B.F.A from the Art Institute of Charleston for Interior Design, and Carson is a rising senior at Clemson University for Business Administration. Both girls are developing skills that will carry on the development of Talley.
